patchwork quilt

so i decided that undoing all my work to add in another few cm so my blanket could lie flat was silly . Seeing as the blanket is bigger than my bed anyway, you cant tell, so sod it!

i've slept under a few times coz its been kinda hot, and it is LUSH! so here are some photos :)

ok, so forgive my tip of a room (thats actually tidy for me!) and yes, that is a winnie the poo pillow case, but its proper old school, had it for as long as i can rember

i've been a bad blogger!

Despite the fact i've actually been crafting quite a lot (and taking photos of it all!) i haven't posted in forever which is rather silly!

but i figured, 2 in the morning, why not organize my photos and post some shiz!.. whilst nom noming on some fruit and fiber straight from the box.. mm tasty, and strangely satisfying considering how healthy it is!

coffee and pie, oh my...

ok so there was no coffee (i hate the stuff) but there was pie! .. and brick is an AWESOME film...

yes anyway the point is:

last night i completed my baking triathlon (three nights of baking!!!) with a rather pretty looking peach pie!

personally i was kinda disappointed! it didn't taste of much, but my 'husband', who i baked it for loved it :) as did my buddy who got a slice today :)

any houch, still haven't had the heart to fix my quilt :(

quilt fail and other stories

i completly messed up the backing for my quilt and having spent sooo long on it recently i dont have the heart to undo my work yet :( so it looks awesome but i cut the back to small so it doesn't lie flat SOB SOB! honestly im just so MGEH! bad times...

i made a necklace though...

the star is made of fimo, i made it AGERS ago and never quite got round to doing anything with it :)

also my lovely friend Helen came round and we had a baking session :) .....

we started by eating some cheesecake i had made the night before (i went to dinner at a friends and decided it would be fun to make pudding, its lemon top with ginger biscuit base.. mmm!)

helen loves her fairy cakes so we made some of them! we decided to make them marbled just for giggles...

these ones where supposed to be black and pink but came out mostly gray :S

supposed to be a spider web (FAIL :( )

theses where supposed to be green and purple, but again with the grey! the icing was supposed to be black. we also put peppermint essence green part of the cake mix, it tastes a little strange, but nice!!

this one went a bit funny but we decided it looked like a turtle and we like this!

was SUPPOSED to be an elephant but looks more like baboon!

helen and the flap jack we made which had raisins and choc biscuit pieces in

any penny way! i should probs go get one with the millions of things i have to do!

oh HAAAAI!

so i have been ridiculously busy with uni and have done VERY little making.

but i did a red riding hood shot and thus had to make a cape, so here are a couple of pictures of that:

i just found a pattern online and copied it out, it didn't come out quite how i wanted it too, its kinda annoying that it doest close properly, but i wore it to a party last night, walking through town to get there was pretty funny..

any hoo.. i have to go do some dissertation research :( ... stupid dissertation...

mmmmmm cows.....

i found these really cool little moulds. they said theyre ice cube trays but i found a much better use for them :)

yes! chocolate cows!!!!! (and elephants)

also, squirrels and rabbits... these ones have a bet of peppermint and green food dye in...

mmm tasty animals :)

not long now!

the holidays are nearly upon us! im super excited to not have to do anything! well... also bricking it because i'm supposed to have arranged work experience and it just hasn't happened :S soooo looks like i'll be paying £400 to redo this module :(

ANYWAY! because i've not had much work on i got my sewing machine out :) so i thought i'd post my new little dudes :)
